Norma Safren, seated at right, celebrated her 94th birthday July 26 at The View in Alexandria. She was joined by fellow resident Cynthia Bordner, seated at left, and Safren’s son Richie Safren and granddaughter Susan Medina. Asked for her secret to her long and healthy life, Safren replied, “I have three beautiful children and nine beautiful grandchildren and the family is still increasing.”
