Charlotte Moffatt has left spelling to touch base with her teacher Cecelia Snyder. And Ryan Berro needs to ask a question about his work. Snyder says that teaching is a two-way street. Charlotte recently taught Snyder that brown-headed cowbirds are called buffalo birds in other parts of the country.

After 20 years of teaching 3-6-year-olds at the Old Town Montessori School on S. Columbus Street and serving as its administrative director, Snyder is retiring.
